On the 29th of March, the Hellenic Republic Parliament voted for extending the period which a Golden Visa investor could invest in at a minimum of 250.000 EUR in selected areas to August 1, 2023. The significant changes in the program that will become valid as of August 1st, 2023, are as follows: “The minimum real estate investment threshold to obtain the Greek Golden Visa will be doubling up to €500,000. The Transition Period: Investors will be able to benefit from the existing laws, provided they have paid the deposit that corresponds to 10% of the property value by July 31th, 2023, and are to finalize the investment by December 31st, 2023.
